Discover a selection of wines from New Zealand
Join one of Pernod Ricard's wine experts, Katherine Candy, on a journey through New Zealand Wines. We'll take you through two very different regions; the world renowned Marlborough region in the South Island through to Hawke's Bay in the North island.
Marlborough vineyards were first planted in 1973 and is New Zealand’s youngest and largest wine region, now accounting for 70% of New Zealand’s wine production.
Marlborough put New Zealand on the international wine stage with its exquisite Sauvignon Blanc in the 1980s. Our first wine is from the famous Brancott Estate, where the founders created Marlborough's first ever Sauvignon Blanc, changing the face of the region forever.
Our second wine is also from the Marlborough region but from the Stoneleigh vineyard. Once the bed of an ancient river, the vineyards lay on stones which capture heat throughout the day and release it on to the vines to help develop rich, intense flavours in the grapes.
Our journey continues up to the North Island where we discover Church Road, where these wine experts balance traditional techniques with innovative ways to hone their skills and continue to create exceptional wines.
